MISSION STATEMENT
The School of Biblical Studies, Jos, was established on August 20, 1989, for the purpose of educating men and women in the work of God. The School seeks to maintain itself as an Institution that trains men and women to teach and preach the Gospel; be responsible citizens in Nigeria, and effective leaders in the Church of the Lord, in order to aid the spread of the Gospel to all the world.
OUR PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
We believe that God is the center of reality, as well as, the source of all truth. The Bible is the inspired Word of God
and it is the foundation and final authority for all of Christian Education. In light of the Great Commission, we believe
that God wants some to preach the gospel, and calls them to do so. One must be trained in the Word before he/she can teach
it. Our goal, then, is to train our students to preach and teach the gospel and serve society. To that end, we continue
to prepare ourselves to be effective in our teaching and show by our examples a personal model of a loving, Christ-centered
life. Due to this heavy responsibility, our intention is to dedicate ourselves to the task in order to challenge the learner:
- to seek and acquire knowledge of God's Word;
- to be active in the education process;
- to discover and assimilate knowledge, skills, and attitudes;
- to be a better servant and citizen in the Kingdom of God and in this country. as he/she translates these truths into life.
